A JFA Bible Worker Story from Bangladesh

Editor's Note: The following story was taken from a testimony shared with us by Saheli*, one of our Bible Workers in Bangladesh.

Isaiah 41:13 "For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'"

Late one afternoon, we visited a village far away from our house. When we arrived, we found many people at home. We talked with the villagers, shared many things about Jesus, and taught simple health lessons. Time passed quickly, and by the time we were ready to leave, darkness was fast approaching. 

As we started to walk home, the sky grew darker and darker. Clouds covered the stars and the moon, and we could not see our way clearly. Fear entered our hearts.

“How will we make it back to our house?” we wondered. Then suddenly, a kind voice whispered to my heart.

“Don’t worry. You will reach home safely.” 

We started to sing and walk more quickly. We were so comforted to know that Jesus was there with us. We were not alone. At last, we reached home safely. We love Jesus. He is our Savior at all times.
