What We're Thankful for:

Nimmi grew up in a Hindu home. Her family had heard of Jesus and Christianity before, but they continued to worship idols as they always had.Sometime later, Nimmi's mother got very sick. She had a high fever that would just not go away, no matter what they did. Each day she grew weaker and weaker. The family feared she would not live much longer. In their desperation, Nimmi asked her neighbor if she knew anyone who could pray for her mother. The neighbor called Raj, a JFA Bible worker. Raj came and prayed for Nimmi's mother and promised to come back the following day. When he returned, she was feeling much better. Now, Nimmi and her family have thrown out all their idols and have started receiving Bible studies. We have so much to thank God for this year. He has done so much incredible work, and changed so many lives, just like He changed Nimmi and her family's lives. We are grateful that He has chosen us, finite human beings, to work with Him for the salvation of souls. We are thankful that the work is not yet finished–that we still have time to bring many more people into communion with Christ. Here is a taste of what God has done this year!

Jesus 4 Slum Kids

God saved the life of the Bauders' nine-month-old baby Evangeline, and provided them with a new house that won't make her sick. The new house has space for all 10 of their kids with room to grow!

New Evening Schools

Your gifts provided enough funds to start 10 new evening schools in India this January! These schools will give food and education to poor children and help local Adventist churches connect with their communities.

You can support these children's education for as little as $7 a month.

New Missionary Families

The Nortons moved to Thailand in August. They are witnesses in a city with no other Adventists. They recently started caring for two young slum children who desperately needed a loving home.

New Missionary Families

The Woodwards moved to Bangkok, Thailand in October. Living in the city, not to mention a new country, has been a new experience for them, but God has given them peace despite the challenges. They are currently learning Thai and assisting the Atwells at the F5 Center.

Thank You

One thing we are especially grateful for is YOU! Your continued support of Jesus for Asia, through your abundant prayers and generous gifts, have truly made an impact in the lives of those whom they have touched.

One of our evening schools is a very poor village called Amaravadi. Before the evening school was opened, the children struggled to get even one meal a day. They are so thankful for the chance to eat and learn, and they shared this with their teacher, “A million, trillion times, ‘Praise the Lord’ for those people who are helping us, who are supporting us. We need to pray for those who are helping us to have this food. God has to bless them abundantly!”

As you are here, praying for God to work in the lives of those who do not know Him, children and Bible Workers and missionaries are praying for you. And we are too.

As the holiday season arrives, we pray for the Lord’s blessings over each one of you and your families. We pray that He will continue to work in your lives and draw you closer to Himself.

Thank you for letting God use you this year.
